INDUSTRIAL AND TERRITORIAL POTENTIAL OF THE NORTH CAUCASUS
From a geostrategic standpoint, the North Caucasus is a gateway to Central Asia, in connection with which, it is a trade transit for neighboring countries to Western markets. As a Geostrategic and economic actor, it is very important for Russia. On it goes pipeline delivering Caspian oil to the West and to Europe.
The natural and economic complex of the North Caucasus is integrated into the economy of the Russian Federation. Its signify cant labor and natural resources, infrastructure would be very attractive for investment, if there were no political and interethnic instability. At present, for Russia the transport importance of the North Caucasus, after the loss of large seaports that have departed after the collapse of the USSR to Ukraine, Georgia and Azerbaijan, is especially important [1; 133].
There are 7 republics and two regions on the territory of the North Caucasus. Adygea is a part of the North Caucasian economic region. The republic is surrounded on all sides by the territory of the Krasnodar Territory.
Adygea is distinguished by forest resources (more than one third of the territory), it possesses large stocks of building materials. Ingushetia is located on the northern slopes of the foothills of the Greater Caucasus Range and on the small ridges of Tersk, Sunzhensky and Skalist adjoining it.
Ingushetia is distinguished by, the difference in climatic parameters due to the mountainous relief. In Ingushetia developed agricultural livestock. Significant development has also viticulture and tobacco.
