The meeting of the Academic Board was held

The next meeting of the Academic Board was held on February 27 at the Institute of the Caucasus Studies of ANAS. The meeting was opened by the director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Musa Gasimli. Decree No. 1/5 of the Presidium of ANAS dated January 9, 2024 on the holding of a competition for the development of a new logo (emblem) of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the decision of the Presidium of ANAS on the scientific and scientific-organizational activity of the Department of Social Sciences of ANAS in 2023 Decree  No. 6/2 dated January 19, 2024, the members of the Scientific Council were informed by the decision No. 9/2 of the Presidium of ANAS dated January 29, 2024 about the establishment of the Board of Directors of ANAS. The members of the Scientific Board  were informed about the decision. 

The doctor of political sciences, associate professor Ramila Dadashova's book "Heydar Aliyev: Conceptual view of Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations" was recommended for publication. (Scientific editors: academician Isa Habibbayli, professor Ibrahim Ethem Atnur, reviewers: doctor of political sciences, professor Ramiz Sevdimaliyev and doctor of political sciences, professor Gulzar Ibrahimova). The book "Georgia-Armenia relations: construction, current situation and problems" was recommended for publication co-authored by Doctor of Philosophy in philosophy, associate professor, Vahid Omarov, Naziya Mammadova and Nigar Mustafayeva (Scientific editor: Corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Musa Gasimli, reviewers: Doctor of History science, Professor Gasim Hajiyev, Doctor of Philosophy in History Gunel Musayeva and Doctor of Philosophy in Political Sciences Samira Habibbayli). The book by named "Armenian Community in the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories of the Russian Federation" were recommended for publication co-authored by Doctor of Philosophy in Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Liliya Mirzazadeh, Gunay Feyziyeva and Shahnaz Taghiyeva (Scientific editor: Vahid Omarov Doctor of Philosophy in philosophy, associate professor. Reviewers: Doctor of History, Professor Gasim Hajiyev and PhD in history, associate professor Elnur Kalbizade). Then, current issues were discussed at the meeting.
