Gurbanova Gunel Mansim was born in the city of Nakhchivan. In 2014, she graduated from secondary school No. 36 named after Narimanov. In 2018, she graduated from the Faculty of History of Baku State University with a bachelor's degree in Regional Studies (Caucasus), and in 2020 with a master's degree with honors. From September 10, 2018 to September 10, 2020 she worked as a senior specialist in the Department of  Translation, Publication and Information of the Institute of Caucasus Studies of ANAS. Since September 10, 2020, she has been working as a senior specialist in the Department of Armenian Studies of the Institute of Caucasus Studies.
