The director and employees of the institute were awarded with the Letter of Appreciation of ANAS

The director of the Institute of the Caucasus Studies of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS, Doctor of History, Professor Musa Gasimli and 4 employees of the institute, Doctor of History, Professor Gasim Hajiyev, Doctor of Philosophy in History, Associate Professor Elnur Kalbizade, Doctor of Philosophy in History Gunel Musayeva, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Sciences Samira Habibbayli, was awarded with the Letter of Appreciation of ANAS in the field of research and promotion of the rich political heritage of the life and activities of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and the ideas of statehood. According the Decree No. 3494 dated November 29, 2022 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev declared 2023 as the "Year of Heydar Aliyev".
