A round table dedicated to the Victory Day

A round table dedicated to Victory Day was held at the Institute of the Caucasus Studies. Firstly, the dear memory of martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence. the general director, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Musa Gasimli gave an  extensive speech entitled “November 8 - the day that marks the beginning of a new stage in the South Caucasus”. M. Gasimli spoke about the historical significance of the victory under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan , Supreme commander-in-chief Ilham Aliyev.  Then executive director for scientific affairs of  the institute, associate professor Ramila Dadashova, scientific secretary associate professor Sudaba  Huseynova, heads of the department , doctor of historical sciences, professor Gasim Hajiyev, Ph.D. in Philosophy , associate professor Vahid Omarov, Ph.D. in political sciences Samira Habibbeyli, the chairman of  the Trade Union Organization of  the Institute Yegane Bakhshiyeva,  the head of the New Azerbaijan Party of the institute Sharkiyya Imamali spoke.
