The next meeting of the Academic Board was held at the Institute of the Caucasus Studies of ANAS

The meeting of the Academic Board was held on June 22 at the Institute of the Caucasus Studies of ANAS. The general director of the institute, the chief of the board, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Musa Gasımlı opened the meeting. The report was discussed on the scientific and scientific-organizational activity of the Institute of the Caucasus Studies for the first half of 2023. Corresponding member of ANAS, professor Gorkhmaz Imanov participated at scientific board. Then the members of the Academic Council were informed about the decision of the Presidium of ANAS No. 9/1 dated February 23, 2023 on the state of studying the life and work of literary and historical personalities in the field of humanitarian and social sciences and the tasks of Azerbaijani science in the period of independence. The monograph "Heydar Aliyev and the Territorial Integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan" by the doctor of historical sciences,Professor Gasim Hajiyev, the head of the Department of Caucasus History (from ancient times to the 20th century) was recommended for publication (Scientific advisor: the president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli.
