Musa Qasimli spoke at the “1st International Symposium on Turkish-Armenian Relations in the First Half of the 20th Century”
Director of the Institute of Caucasus Studies of ANAS, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Musa Qasimli attended at the “1st International Symposium on Turkish-Armenian Relations in the First Half of the 20th Century” organized jointly by Iğdır University and Turkish History Association on October 16-17, 2019 with participation of historians from Turkey, Azerbaijan, USA, Italy, India and Ukraine.
The speech of Azerbaijani scientist at the plenary session of the symposium, as well as his report “Massacres committed by Armenian armed groups in Iğdır in the late 19th and early 20th centuries (based on Russian and Georgian archives)” in the section meeting were welcomed.
The final evaluation of the symposium was made by the Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Musa Qasimli, prominent Turkish historians, professors Kemal Çiçek, Hikmet Öksüz and Esen Dayı.
