The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute was held.

A meeting of the Scientific Council of the Caucasus Studies Institute was held on June 25. Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Musa Qasimli informed the members of the council about the agenda of the meeting. The report on the scientific and scientific-organizational activity of the Institute for the first half of 2019 was discussed and some specifications were made in the scientific research works of the Caucasus Policy Department.
Members of the Scientific Council were acquainted with the decisions on the Statute of the Academic Mammadagha Shiraliyev Award of the Presidium of ANAS dated May 31, 2019, No. 10/13, on the Statute of the Abbasqulu Aga Bakikhanov Award of the Presidium of ANAS dated May 31, 2019, No. 10/14, about the Statute of the memorial plaque of Presidium of ANAS dated May 31, 2019, No. 10/5 and creation of scientific councils on scientific directions of Presidium of ANAS and Coordination Council of the Scientific Research of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 31, 2019, 10/2.
The Scientific Council discussed the report on participation of the director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Musa Qasimli in an international symposium on “19 May and the 100th Anniversary of National Struggle” in Turkey (Samsun) on June 11-14, 2019.
