The notion of war- is the path leading to the end of humanity with the death of the millions of people, children remaining without parents, mothers without sons, sisters without brothers. The concept of war can be described as disintegration of the villages, cities, existence of refugees, hunger and tragedy. First of all, in any conflict in the history of the society- women and children suffer more than others. Therefore the women are interested in peace more than everybody. The women participation in the peace process could give positive results. However, at present ,women play only the important role as medical and administrative workers in protecting of peace. But they do not take part in peace negotiations and in political decision-making connected with armed conflict.
There are some international documents on the protection of children and women in the period of war.  In the IV(Fourth) Geneva convention dated on August 12(twelve), 1949(nineteen forty nine ) the protection of women from negative influences of war is pointed out specially . Civil population cannot be an  attack object. Pregnant and young women having a child must exempt from the captivity out of turn. Injured and ill women must be returned to their country or neutral country on the basis of  typical agreement. In the 1st article of the Declaration on the Protection of Women and Children in Emergency and Armed Conflict ,Proclaimed by General Assembly resolution 3318(thirty tree eighteen) of 14(fourteen)in December 1974(nineteen seventy four) is said: “Attacks and bombings on the civilian population, inflicting incalculable suffering, especially on women and children, who are the most vulnerable members of the population, shall be prohibited, and such acts shall be condemned”. But in the 5th(fifth) article is shown: “ All forms of repression and cruel and inhuman treatment of women and children, including imprisonment, torture, shooting, mass arrests, collective punishment, destruction of dwellings and forcible eviction, committed by belligerents in the course of military operations or in occupied territories shall be considered criminal”.
