Scientific secretary


       Huseynova Sudaba Novruzali - 
was born on December 4, 1979 in Agstafa district. She received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology at Baku State University in 1997-2001, and a master's degree in legal psychology from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology at Baku State University in 2001-2003. On October 20, 2014 she defended her doctoral dissertation on psychology "Socio-psychological aspects of legal thinking of the individual in modern times", by the decision of the Supreme Attestation Commission (SAC) under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 10, 2016 (protocol № 05-k) she was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology. She was awarded the title of associate professor by the decision of the SAC under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 25, 2019 (protocol № 01-K).

She is a PhD candidate in the doctor of political sciences (specialty: International relations) of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after Academician Ziya Bunyadov of ANAS. She is working on her doctoral dissertation "Armenian terrorism: political-psychological and international aspects" under the supervision of corresponding member of ANAS, professor Musa Qasimli.

In 2001-2003 she worked as a psychologist at the secondary school No. 149 of Khazar district of Baku. In 2003-2013 she worked as a junior researcher in the Department of Social Psychology of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of ANAS, and in 2013-2017 as a researcher. Since 2017, she has been working as the scientific secretary of the Institute of Caucasus Studies of ANAS.

She is the scientific secretary of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Caucasus Studies of ANAS and the deputy editor-in-chief of the scientific research journal "Sociology. Social Psychology. Politics".

She is the author of 1 monograph and more than 50 scientific articles. Her scientific articles have been published in Azerbaijan, as well as in many foreign countries, including Russia, Turkey and Kazakhstan.
